The Hampden Experience

Well what can we say about Saturday! It was not the result we wanted but the business club sure had a good day. The day started with rolls and coffee (and some liquid refreshment!) at the Queens Hotel in Perth and a surprise was in store for all the kids on the bus. Thanks to our sponsor for the day, Chas Stewart Plumbing and Heating Ltd and St Johnstone FC the kids all received a bag with an assortment of goodies. Then on to Hampden we went, raffle and sweepie on the way and Hugh Daly was lucky enough to secure the first goalscorer which won him hospitality for two at the forthcoming Hamilton match courtesy of Farquhar and Son Ltd.

Pictured are Charlie Fraser, past chairman of the Business Club, presenting the cheque to St Johnstone vice-chairman Steve Brown. Looking on are, from left, Paul Melloy (treasurer), James Irvine, Lindsay Ross (Secretary) and Greg Davidson, (Chairman).

Chairman's Report 2011

Following on from the AGM I am writing to you in my new role as chairman of the St Johnstone FC Business Club. The club is now around 8 years old but it feels like it has been in place longer. Credit must go to the original founders and having been involved in the evolution over the last 3 years I feel that we have a business club to be proud of and one that can help support the football club in their own ambitions moving forward.
